We were very excited to launch the official Our City Our Books book club in October.
From chatting with readers in the city, we discovered that lots of people are missing their regular book clubs this year as we can’t come together in the ways we usually would as a result of Covid-19.
At Our City Our Books, we’re always talking about books so we thought why not make it official, with our very own online bookclub!
We will be hosting two online book club sessions on the last Tuesday and Thursday of each month.
To kick things off, we’re taking our cues from Dublin’s virtual bookshelf. We’re going to soar the shelves to explore the world of books Dubliners have picked - from classic tomes to contemporary tales, truth to fiction - anything goes. You can drop in any week or come to see us every month, whatever suits you best. All you have to do is reserve your spot for the next book club each month. You can book your place here.
Alongside a new book pick, we can guarantee some friendly faces and a space for some good old fashioned book chats, moderated by two members of the Our City Our Books team.
So if you’re missing the book chats at the moment (who isn’t!), we’d love for you to join us for the Our City Our Books book club. We hope to see you soon. Book now.
If you’re curious to know more, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us via hello@ourcityourbooks.ie
