Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, all Dublin City Public Libraries have been closed until further notice.

Libraries temporarily close due to Covid-19

We know lots of people will be missing their library (as are we!) while we sail in uncertain waters for a while. One of the great joys of reading though, is that you can do it anywhere, at any time - and it’s even conducive to both self-isolating and social distancing. Win win.

What we’re reading
We’ve picked a few of our favourites from the incredible list of Dublin City Libraries online resources, and how to use them.

We’re looking forward to reading Tatty by Christine Dwyer Hickey in April, which is the Dublin One City One Book choice for 2020. Even though we can’t meet in person right now, we’ll be chatting about it and sharing our thoughts online using #OCOBclub.

For more details on the libraries closures, you can read the statement from Dublin City Libraries or you can check the DublinCityLibraries Twitter page for the latest updates.
