A story of Ireland in the days of old. A young girl gets pregnant and has to leave home. A sad and sometimes funny read. Lots of amazing characters along the way. Touching.

The Famous Five by Enid Blyton.

Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck.

It was a story of two migrant workers during the Great Depression in the USA . Very thought-provoking and moving.
